Expectations VS Reality
This is the most faced situation whether it be a day-to-day scenario or life-changing decisions. Some say our goals should be reality-oriented and according to others' expectations are to be kept high otherwise we end up unsatisfied. First, let's discuss Expectations While expectations are hope-based and mostly a result of self-determination which can sometimes turn out to be favorable as we have had many past events of people achieving goals against all odds solely based on their willpower. It's in our human nature to have a high moral belief regarding our own abilities & sometimes overestimated capabilities turn out to be disastrous not only for us but putting others' futures in japery too.
