What are the most illogical things Indians need to stop doing immediately?

 1 - Don't dare to question elders. Never ever!

Following the instructions of elders without questioning them makes you a good boy. If you dare to question, you are definitely a spoiled brat.

2 - Government job rules, private job sucks.

Take a look at the picture above. Government jobs are considered better in terms of job security. But people praise it for all wrong reasons. Sarkari babus can have their tea at leisure while the rest of the world can wait. Also, you get a chance to get extra under table income. But It is not the case with private jobs where performance is strictly monitored. So, they are bad jobs.

3 - Reservation is a curse for those who work really hard.

This is the mother of all misery in any nation. In the exam, in government jobs, there are deserving people who are listed out because of this.

4 - The legal age for drinking is 25 but you can get married at 21.

You need to be very responsive to handle your alcohol. But the responsibility of marriage and family is a child's play.

5 - To a few, tradition means caste.

Well, we believe that our caste is superior and keep questioning other's beliefs.

6 - We question technology but believe in our superstitions.

People cautious when it comes to genetically modified crops and new medicines. It's a good thing. But then, a black cat crossing your path, a cracked mirror, or a bird pooping on your head decides one's fate in India.

We all have heard about the one almighty, omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient GOD and all the mythological stories of how he created the very world we live in but why we never dare to ask or question the fundamentals of its very existence. Well, that would be a tough job to do, and it's up to one's perspective of how he thinks of today as it might be good or bad according to him but I guess I have a few things that would be common to everyone about our current situation… First, I’ll tell him about the good part :) We are in a transition phase right now as the world hasn’t seen this much technological advancement in 1000 years, that we witnessed in the last 3 decades.
